Paleo Biscuits

1/3 cup coconut flour
1/3 cup arrowroot flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 Tbs. water
3 Tbs. avocado or coconut oil
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 egg

Preheat oven to 350*
Mix all ingredients in order.
Form 1/4 cup balls with hands. Place on baking stone and press down slightly.
Bake for 12 min.

Bacon Biscuit Variation
Substitute bacon grease for the oil and stir in 4 cooked and crumbled slices of bacon.

Cinnamon Raisin Variation
Add 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp maple syrup or honey, and 2 Tbs. raisins.
